The Inspirational Hospitality Leader Award celebrates a hospitality leader at any level who inspires their team, lifts standards and makes a lasting difference to the people around them.
It rewards leadership by example, kindness and courage.
Eligibility
Open to hospitality leaders at any level, based in or serving the region. Self-nominations and nominations made by others are both welcome.
Judging criteria
- Entries are judged on the leader's impact on their team
- How they have developed others
- Results achieved and testimony from colleagues
Qualitative criteria
- What they set out to achieve, and why it mattered
- How they work with others
- What guests and colleagues say about them
Metrics
- Results delivered this year
- Guests or people helped
- Recognition already received
Additional criteria
- Include examples of the work
- The results in figures where possible and a word from a guest
- Colleague or manager
