About this category
The Hospitality Interior Design Project of the Year Award celebrates a single hotel, restaurant, bar or venue design project completed in the last two years.
It is open to operators, designers and fit-out teams, and rewards a project that delighted guests and delivered for the business.
Eligibility
Open to hospitality design and refurbishment projects completed within the last 24 months, based in or serving the region. Entries may be made by the operator, designer or contractor. Self-nominations and nominations made by others are both welcome.
Judging criteria
- Entries are judged on the design and its execution
- The brief and how it was met
- Guest response and the commercial result
Qualitative criteria
- The aim and why it mattered
- How it was designed and delivered
- Who was involved
Metrics
- Results achieved
- People or businesses reached
- Return on the investment
Additional criteria
- Include outcomes in figures where possible
- Images where relevant and a word from somebody who benefited
