About this category
The Bartender of the Year Award celebrates a bartender or mixologist whose drinks, knowledge and personality bring guests back to the bar.
The judges look for skill, creativity and great service under pressure.
Eligibility
Open to bartenders and mixologists in pubs, bars, hotels and restaurants, based in or serving the region. Self-nominations and nominations made by others are both welcome.

- What they set out to achieve, and why it mattered
- How they work with others
- What guests and colleagues say about them
